Every summer has it’s own story. Hair gets lighter. Skin gets darker. Water gets warmer. Drinks get colder. Music get louder. Nights get longer. Life …life gets better.
Summer is meant to make memories and you don’t have to do anything extravagant to create those family moments. Thing is, in the hustle of it all it can be easy to miss recording them, but it doesn’t have to be. I have absolutely fallen in love with the Panasonic LUMIX G7 because it is able to keep up with my family and capture those memories in the making. Here are some awesome 4K video photos that I captured during a simple summer day in our yard.

And when Livia couldn’t jump higher than Meatball she grabbed her pogo stick (which she has been obsessively working towards breaking the world record on…but we don’t quite know what the world record is. Maybe I should Google that for her)…
The Panasonic LUMIX G7 is the perfect camera for parents! It is a light weight and easy to use DSLM camera (M= Mirrorless). Compared to my DSLR this is much easier to take with us on the go. But, what is amazing to me is the 4K Ultra HD Video that is taken at up to 30 breathtaking frames-per-second which you then can extract an 8-megapixel still image from. This 4k mode allows you to take video and photos at the same time! All you do is keep your finger on the shutter for a continuous fast burst shooting. After you take the video, the Panasonic LUMIX G7 allows you to choose “that moment” from 4K Ultra HD Video taken. If you have kids you get just how brilliant this is.
Capturing memories without asking my kids to stay still? I am still wrapping my mind around just how awesome this is.
The Panasonic LUMIX G7 is a Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera that came with a 14-42mm Lens. The intelligent auto setting and touch screen makes it easy to use even if you don’t know how to use anything more than automatic. It even worked for capturing moments easily in darker settings.
It is the coolest thing I have ever used! This camera’s focus chases the kids without you having to manually adjust with it’s Exclusive DFD Focusing. I haven’t missed capturing a moment with my kids since I got this camera.
These are clear, crisp photos that other cameras that I have tried have not even come close to being able to compete with. I have even tried to extract photos from video before and it always turns out blurry. These dark photos would be a complete disaster with the other cameras that I own. But, with the Panasonic Lumix G7 the kids sense of wonder as they twirled around sparklers for the first time is caught and recorded!
