In a pot over low-medium heat, melt the stick of butter.

Once melted add in the marshmallows, chocolate syrup, and black food dye. Stir until the marshmallows are completely melted.

Once the marshmallows are melted, remove from heat. Stir in the Cocoa Pebbles. Make sure that they are evenly coated.

Once completely coated, spoon of piles of the mixture onto a sheet of wax paper. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes.

Once cooled down, use your hands to shape your lumps of coal into a ball if necessary.
