Help Your Community with Unilever’s #ShareAMeal

Sharing is caring!

I participated in the Unilever brightFuture #ShareAMeal blog program as a member of One2One Network. I received compensation but all opinions are my own.

Poverty in America is something that has always sat near and dear to my heart. There are always ways to help, but I have always personally felt that the biggest way to make a difference is to start in your own community; to let the ripple effect travel outwards from there. When asked to participate in bringing awareness to Unilever’s brightFuture #ShareAMeal campaign, I couldn’t pass it up. This is an amazingly simple way to bring a meal to a family in your community who is in need.

How You Can #ShareAMeal

1 in 5 children faces hunger every day in America. Ya’ll that is a huge number. An unacceptable number. This is why Unilever is partnering up with Feeding America to provide a million meals to those in need this holiday season. With your help they can provide a million more.

How to Help:

  • Join in the conversation on social media using the hashtag #ShareAMeal. Whenever you engage using the #ShareAMeal hashtag , even a simple like or retweet, or a photo of an empty plate on Unilever’s brightFuture #ShareAMeal Instagram or Twitter, Unilever will donate a meal to Feeding America. It couldn’t be easier!
  • Purchase participating Unilever products in-store with their coupon delivered in the Sunday paper on November 15, or on Amazon Prime Pantry, Unilever will donate one meal to Feeding.

Crazy simple!

In the last five years through their partnership with Feeding America, Unilever has been able to provide more than 30 million meals to those in need.
