Author Parenting Chaos

Ingredients

  • 4-6 Large Potatoes at least the length of your hand
  • 2 lbs. Ground Beef
  • 2 cups Mushrooms
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • Cloves as Desired
  • Swiss Cheese as Desired
  • 2-3 cups of Ranch Dressing
  • 1 can Hunts Manwich Bold Sloppy Joe Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven to 450 Degrees.
  2. Wrap Potatoes in Tin Foil and Bake at 450 degrees for 45 minutes.
  3. Once your timer goes off remove your potatoes from the oven, turn the oven down to 200 degrees, and unwrap from the foil to cool down.
  4. Slice potatoes in half to speed up the cooling down. Be gentle with them if they are hot because they will peel and rip easily.
  5. While your potatoes cool brown your beef.
  6. Sautée your mushrooms with garlic and green onions.
  7. While all of this is cooking on low to medium heat, your potatoes should be cooled down enough to begin working on. Scoop out the insides of your potatoes into a bowl with a large spoon. Leave about 1/4 an inch of potatoes around the edge. Take what you have in the bowl and add 2-3 cups of ranch dressing– mash it up. It does not have to be a smooth consistency.
  8. Add this back into the potato skins creating a bowl.
  9. And that is done until your ground beef is ready! Once your beef is good to go, drain it of grease, add in one can of Manwich {there are three types to choose from –Original, Bold, and Thick & Chunky — we used Bold}. Add one scoop of your Sloppy Joe mixture to your potato skins.
  10. Top with your mushrooms and cheese.
  11. Bake your potatoes at 200 degrees until cheese is melted.
  12. Serve and Enjoy!
