Ingredients

  • Boxed Cake Mix
  • Frosting
  • White Almond Bark
  • Wilton’s Candy Eyes small
  • Small Marshmallows
  • Coconut
  • Black and Green Food Dye

Instructions

  1. Prepare cupcakes as directed on box for 6 cupcakes. Place the rest into your cake pop pan. If using the cake pop method oil and flour your pan before use to make sure your cake balls pop out easily.
  2. Once done baking pop your cake ball pan into the freezer for 10-15 minutes and set your cupcakes on a cooling rack.
  3. While your cupcakes cool take a piece of wax paper and a ziplock bag. In the ziplock bag place one block of white chocolate almond bark. Microwave in 10 second intervals, squeezing after each time, until chocolate is a smooth consistency. Add in your black food dye and fully mix. Snip away the corner of your ziplock bag and on the wax paper draw out your sheep ears. Allow to dry.
  4. Once cupcakes are cool and ready to be frosted mix up two bowls of frosting- one white and a very small one of black. Frost your cupcakes with plain white frosting and your cake balls with black. You can also use the black almond bark instead of the black frosting if you desire.
  5. Place your cake balls on top of your frosted cupcakes. Add two eyes to your sheep.
  6. Using your marshmallows fill in any empty space showing on top of your cupcake.
  7. Add your sheep’s ears.
  8. Mix green food dye and coconut. Sprinkle around your plate for grass.
  9. Serve and Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

If you do not have a cake ball pan you can still make cake pops by crumbling up a couple of the cupcakes and adding in frosting until it is at a consistency that you can mold a ball with your hands.
