My kids love sensory play and today they decided to get a tad crazy with their quiet time activity by mixing their two favorite sensory bin materials – Water Beads + Slime. Playing with this slime was so much fun and learning How to Make Water Bead Slime was an adventure in itself!
This has been the stretchiest slime we have made. How the waterbeads and slime acted together was fascinating!
Recently it has been bitterly cold outside and my boys have been bouncing off the walls. I have always parented with the philosophy that if you remove the walls kids cannot bounce off of them, but our weather here just does not want to cooperate. This has left me in desperate need of activities that will engage both of the boys (9 months and three years old). We absolutely love playing with liquid starch slime here. It is super easy to make, easy on the wallet, and will keep my kids entertained for hours. Because we love it so much the kids decided that this is what they want to hand out this year for their friends on Valentines Day instead of candy. While I don’t have pictures of it (because we haven’t finished printing ours out to put them together), below you will find printables with a How to Make Valentines Day Slime card and Valentines day baggie topper so your kids can also pass this out to their friends!

Have ya’ll ever put Ivory Soap in the Microwave? If not this is something that you have to do with your kids! What happens is absolutely amazing! Putting soap in the microwave for various activities is currently one of my kids favorite past time activities.
For those of you that have never seen what happens we made a short film. Livia really wants to get into editing videos and while it is a tad shaky I think she did an awesome job!
