Water Beads Sensory Window Bag

I have been compensated by Windex for this post; however, I am sharing my own thoughts. All opinions are my own.

When it comes to kids – mess is inevitable.

Fingerprints, scattered toys, food crumbs – it’s all part of them learning as they explore their environments. While we love messy play around here, it’s not suitable for every single day – such as cleaning day. This water bead sensory window bag is one of our favorite ways to distract the kids with mess-free sensory play…the perfect solution when you need a moment to tackle the mess!

Before you set up play, for your kiddos you are going to need a clean window for the sandwich bag to be taped to. If you try to hang your mess-free sensory bag onto a dirty window it will fall off and the colors won’t shine through bright and playful. I like to hang ours on our patio door.

Lots of light and room for all the kids to play.

AND lots of messy smears.

For my kids, it is more than just muddy fingerprints as they open and close the sliding glass door. For example, while setting up this particular bag I found a glass door filled with chapstick kisses. My kids had just gotten a pack of flavored chapstick and did a science experiment to see if the scent would transfer to the glass…

Spray.

Wipe.

A beautiful streak-free window ready for play!

This is the perfect activity to give yourself 15-30 minutes to tackle messes around the house. Since I already have Windex® Original Glass Cleaner out I always start with what messes I can tackle using it – windows, mirrors, sealed granite, shower doors, chrome bathroom fixtures, and so much more.
