The Teal Pumpkin Project: How to Participate and a Little Inspiration

Inspiration and Ideas for the Teal Pumpkin Project

Have ya’ll heard about The Teal Pumpkin Project run by FARE?

Launched last year as a national campaign the Teal Pumpkin Project™ raises awareness of food allergies and promotes inclusion of all trick-or-treaters throughout the Halloween season. With over 15 million Americans living with food allergies this campaign is an amazing way to help kids with food allergies enjoy the Halloween season — because Trick-o-Treating is absolutely no fun if you don’t get treats you can enjoy!

While we were there we got to see Frogs and Toads up close and it was super cool. This experience spurred on a fascination with frogs for my kids. Ya’ll are never going to believe what this Frog Egg Sensory Bin is made out of, but it was perfect for setting up some pretend play while learning about the anatomy of Frog Eggs.
